Hi to all, just picked up a used 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramir SLT with the 5.9 liter engine about a month ago and was searching around for some info on the truck and fell across the site. Lot's of good suggestions and it helped me discover what the annoying squeak was in the drivers front end (noisy ball joint). I plan on doing a few mods to the truck, just deciding what to start with for now. New shocks and exaust are in the very near future (tomorrow actually). Considering a lift kit for next summer with new tires but I have to sell my HD Sportster before my wife lets me start on any new hobbies. Still a pretty damn fast truck the way it sits now. Anyway I'll be bopping in and out and I'm looking forward to some good chats.

Thanks, I'll work on some pics, trucks not much to look at yet, pretty stock. Color is maroon, and grey, two tone. I did shave off all the emblems, I like a clean look, no stickers. I'm getting the exhaust (yes there is an "h" in exhaust, see original post) tomorrow, I was going to go for the Flowmaster 40 dual but decided on the Flowmaster 50 dual. I don't want to kill the neighbors. Gotta work on an avatar as well. Look forward to chatting with everyone.

Thanks, it's nice an clean which made me buy it. I added the steps and the flowmaster 50's, I want to replace the coils and leafs with one's from a 2500 next, but the wife want's me to finish the deck first (dam*it)

 

I like your truck Bender! Are you gonna add custom rims to it?
