Default New Girl

Hey everyone,
Unfortunately I don't have a ram yet. Hopefully I will eventually be able to afford one as a play toy. I already know what I want and everything I want to do to it. Before I buy one I wanted to find out more about them considering I am car illiterate, so don't be surprised if I ask stupid questions.

I guess I will get it somewhere around here. I live in Birmingham, AL. I want a 90's version Ram, blue, with a lift kit, roll bars, chrome grill with tow package...... yeah, I'm a big redneck.

Thanks for the welcome!!!

Well, they significantly changed style in 94... are you looking for a 93 or older version or 94 or newer version?

later 90's. I have a picture of a 98' on my desktop which looks almost exactly what I want. So that should probably give you an idea of what I'm looking at. The only thing is I need to pay off my Corolla before I buy it. Hopefully that shouldn't take much longer.

No such thing as a stupid question. I hope you get your truck soon, so you can be part of a rapidly growing family.
Good luck.

I would go w/ the 1999-2001 Ram 1500 models, especially the Sport models. The round Sport grille, and huge front bumper give the Ram a tough look. 1998 marked the first model year for the newer plastic mirrors, newer interior, and Quad Cab models w/ four opening doors. But, good luck on your hunt.
