New Dodge Ram owner
Greetings and Salutations I am new to this site and new to owning a Dodge. I recently purchased a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab Sport 4X4. It's in excellent condition and the previous owner had a 6" lift put on by 4Wheel Parts with an additional 3" body lift. Dual front shocks at each front spring and 6 shocks at the rear. It has 4.56 gears in both the Dana 44 in front and the Chrysler 9.25 in the rear. The engine is the 5.9L V-8 (360) and it only had 87K miles. Never been wrecked with a clean Car Fax record. I've since changed the wheels and tires to Pro Comp's 8089 17X9 ( 4Wheelparts.com) and 35X12.5R17 Dunlop Radial Mud Rovers ( Tirerack.com) and they were installed at Allout Off Road in Richmond, TX. If there's anyone out there that knows more about these trucks I would be happy to hear from you. I want to install shortie headers and dual the exhaust all the way back going to a 3" exhaust system. I do plan on installing K&N's cold air kit and a throttlebody spacer. In addition I would like to install dual electric fans to free up more HP and get even better gas mileage outa it.
