Default Just ordered a Procharger

I understand that superchargers kits are for stock applications, and fuel problems are possible with mods. but what mods? I also ordered an M1 2 bbl, GSM headers and their true dual exhaust system. Also have installed 1.7 roller rockers and 52 mm TB. Will these mods affect the fuel system that comes with the ProCharger? Will I need more fuel and what would you recommend to solve any issues? Will I need to get an MSD BTM?

Thanks for any info.

Jim

I have a Procharger D-1SC that I installed in September. I put in 24lb injectors before installing the sc. I already had, twin electric fans, 52tb, m1 w/large turtle, rt+10 cam, 1.7rr, 2800stall, stgIII shift kit, 3.92s with msd coil, msd digital 6, 8.0mm wires and NGK 3923s at .035(may reduce to .030) Headers, h/f cat, 3" glasspack

You dont need to run a boost retard if you use the stock computer. With the MP PCM you must have a boost retard or will get detonation.
You will not run lean with the inline pump and fmu with what you have but you will be pushing the injectors to run at 100% duty cycle anytime underboost.

The kit comes with an inline pump that with the areomotive fmu will boost fuel pressure progressively as the boost increases. Intially with ATI suggested settings on the fmu, stock computer and 24lb injectors my 5.9 was running very rich under boost. Below 11.0:1. I backed down the settings and its around 11.5-12.0 now.

Sounds good, that should help a fair bit!! Be sure to put cometic gaskets under the Edelbrocks. I would go with the .042 and not the .120 sc ones.

I have a set of Edelbrocks at the machine shop getting ported/matched. Dropping my cam and rrs for 218/228/544/114 with alum 1.6rrs. Going with a forged, balanced 408 w/8.5cr as well.

Didn't have much luck with Cometics sealing, I used them on my 340 and water poured from both heads.
I'm going with Felpro 1008's

Yea I like the felpro 1008's. They're good and i would rather have a weak link in there and maybe do a headgasket job down the road instead of a droppin in a new block.
