just a thought, but since the motor is the same as the one in the newer eclipse why not go take a look at what turbos are out there for it? you'd probably need to do some modification too get it to fit into the engine bay, but atleast you know it'll be tuned for your motor.

It all depends on if it's a coupe(2-door) or a sedan(4-door). The coupe is mitsubishi powered and the sedan is all Chrysler. The mitsubishi is more likely to have an existing turbo set-up already made for it.

Go look on the Stratus forum. I posted a link to where you can get a turbo kit that will bolt onto a Stratus R/T.

The engine in the 2002 3.0L R/T is the same engine that went into that years Eclipse, in fact it is nearly the same car. In most cases you can buy used Turbo's in good shape make the headers and down pipe yuourself or find a turbo kit for the 2002 Eclips. However RIPP makes a stage three supercharge get that run 9 PSI of boost (Just about the safe limit withing going to fordged pistons and connecting rods ETC) for 3,600 I think.
If you have the money go with the super charger IMHO.
