Grew up in a little berg called Richfield Springs- probably the closest town to it that anyone's heard of would be Cooperstown. Went to school at Syracuse, worked and lived in both Rome and the Binghamton area before leaving NY.
No S**t! I grew up and have lived in Endicott, NY almost all my life. When I met my now wife she told me where she was from, Richfield Springs NY. The first thing I said was "where?"[sm=roll.gif]
I could not believe the first time I went through the town and saw the school, I asked her if that was her HS, and she said no, its THE school, K-12. Could not believe it. Growing up here in endicott we had 7 schools.
Great little town though, quiet, and little to worry about.
