anyone from ny?
Small world, I was born in Newburgh. Graduated NFA in the mid 80's. Actually was there in July for the first time since 1993 for about three weeks. Man, it's changed, place I killed my first deer is now a sub-division and Union Ave. has become an absolute zoo. And the river front was absolute rubble when I left. But it'll still be like old home as long as Pete's Hot Dog Stand is still there...

So you guys know the small chain called Adams Fairacre Farms?
Nope.
I grew up in the Town, right across the street from Algonquin Park, the newer side, where the ball fields are. I remember when they were all overgrown cow fields.
My pop lives in the Town with a Wallkill address, off Fostertown Rd.
Half my mother's side of the family still lives in the City, and everyone I've ever met on my pop's side is in/from Wallkill & Walden...

Those towns are all small
I worked in Fort Clinton, Newburgh, Poughkeepsie, Kingston, and Catskill, on the New York State Bridge Authority Bridges. I love the land in that area though, of course I was able to see some views that most wouldnt from atop the bridge towers

I spent a lot of days when I was in my teens hiking, mountain biking & hunting along the tops of many of the mountains looking over the Hudson, I know the views you are talking about, they are breathtaking. I had some great photos from them and the north Ga./NC smokies as well, but they were of the 35mm variety and the ex took all the photo albums when we split. With the differences we had afterwards, and small on again/off again relationships that only made things worse, I've not talked to her in well over a year and am sure if she even still has photos of mine or with me in them, I'd not get them back. It's a shame, because I've got some great wildlife shots...
WOW... a lot of "HOMIES" on here. I live 50 miles N of Charlotte NC in a town called Salisbury, off I-85. But... I was born in Cortland NY, lived in Vestal, most of my life, graduated in 1964 from Vestal. Lived in Endicott, Newark Valley, Saratoga Springs, Hamburg, Lake George (on the corner of RT9 & 149 across from the old half way house), and lived lastly in Owego, working for IBM, transferred to Charlotte plant in 1980 and been here ever since. I love the people of NY but NOT the weather and economy! Im happy living here and used to the hot weather. Oh... and as cars are so nice here, I now own 22... some old hot rods and my wife and I both own Dodge Magnums, I have an 06 SRT and she has a 06 SXT. Among all the other cars I also own a 1989 Pontiac Gran Prix "TURBO", with 7100 miles... very rare car AND this was the actual pace car that was used in the movie "DAYS OF THUNDER" shot @ the Charlotte Motor Speedway! Very nice to see all the New Yorkers on here!!!
Seems we have alot of Captial region members here, any one up for a cruise to the Capital Region Mopar Club cruise in?? It goes on every Monday night in Clifton Park at Guptils.
