Hello neonchik01 it's good to see more people are going.
How many neon owners are making the trip with ya?

I'm not too familiar with the area but we will all have to find a meeting spot. It would be nice to put a face on all these screen names. I usually leave 7 a.m. Fri. Morning and get in town around noon-ish. We check in at the Hotel, get a bite to eat, stop at the gate to get the sticker and the packet then go to the South Mountain DragWay to watch the races. I don't make it on the show field till Sat. Morning. I usaully ride up with a friend of mine and his 72 Duster but he has a gas leak and doesn't think it'll be done in time. I'm still tring to convince my other friend with a 72 Charger to ride down. (Pics of both cars are in my gallery) So it might just be me and my father this year.

 

Im not sure on how many people yet...Im gonna say 10 maybe more. Yea we will all have to meet somehow...I gotta get going and do some stuff to my neon before so I can have a chance at winning something..hehe

 

What kinda stuff you got in mind for the neon?

 

Well so far I have...Kaminari Body Kit/System/rims&tires/I just finished with some painting on the interior/custom paint job/...furture : lambo doors,custom setup in the trunk,tv's and a few other things

Hi TeeWJay did you decide which one of your rides wil be going down with you yet?

It's been raining everyday for a week and a half now and I just want to drive my car!!!

 

I'm working to have the Charger ready to go, but time is growing short. I'm aiming have it at least road ready; it's no show poodle by any means and I know I won't get everything done that I wanted, but that's what I'm shooting for now. The R/T will just be my back-up in case the Charger isn't road ready!

 

hey...thanks for the comment...The mods are coming along...but its gonna be different looking at the show...new paint job and a few other goodies..hehe....hey whoever is driving down from new england drop me an email so maybe we all could meet up.... boomchik99@aol.com , just throw something in the topic area so i know its someone from the forums.

 

I'll be heading down Thursday morning, time yet to be determined. I seem to remember you're someplace in Connecticut, but don't recall where. We head down 84 the whole way through Conn, from the Pike all the way to Scranton. If your schedule is similar, let me know, we can caravan down part of the way.

 

I think the other people here in CT and MA are myself are leaving friday morning.

 

I'll be there.....as usual. I'll have my GLH in the show field. Always an anticipated show.

If any of you get there by Thursday evening, my car club "Mopar Rebellion" will be hosting it's legendary "Kick-Off" to Carlisle ALL Mopar car show at the Chrysler dealership that's less than a few miles from the fairgrounds. It's FREE, there are lots of door prizes and good cheap food and soda's for everyone. The club web site doesn't have the flyer posted yet, but there is some info available HERE. There you'll find directions. If anyone would like more info., just let me know. As soon as the "official" flyer is posted on the site I'll supply another link.
