Yep, very nice indeed.....and I love the fact that despite 620hp** & a supercharger, that's it got lower compression on it then the LS7 has.

 

Well, low compression internals are what you want for FI.....

 

You know, I like the HP and torque of this engine, but I want the wow factor when opening the hood as well when hitting the gas. Based on what I see in the pics it looks like every other LS engine. Can not even see the SC.

 

The new Eaton wouldnt have been visible anyway with that cooler on it....but I happen to be very impressed with this....and honestly, I like that its not something that leaps right out at you.

 

They have limited room under the hood to make anything that would make someone say WOW when you open the hood, so I guess they had no choice..... Not any options for getting more space either, raising the hood would ruin the effect of the body lines.

Maybe a Z06 engine in a roomy Silverardo with a aftermarket SC, then you would have the wow when you go and the wowwhen opening the hood
