edit: What's with the American Brand-X companies wanting to make their big sedans look like the VW Passat, anyway?!? First the 500, now this...
I think they should make a retro impala.... something huge with 2 doors including an option of factory installed suspension air bags so she could jump off the showroom floor. [8D]
Thats totaly what I was thinking when I first saw the pic.

I saw that Jennifer Shoksey(?) from Maryland public TV's "motorweek" reported on the new Impala on this week's show. It looked better on the screen and she seemed to indicate the V8 might be Impala's salvation considering fierce competition.
i saw this thing at the detroit auto show and it looks funny as hell in person- in a really bad way. my buddy and i were laughing our heads off at this thing because the front overhang is HUUUUGE. i swear this thing must have the entire motor in front of the front wheels, (not really) but it looked that way. this may be off subject but the mitsubishi on the dakota platform suffered from the same frontal disease, and the impala probably still had more overhang than that truck!! it was rediculous.
