I think the Corvette plant here in Ky is getting 1 week lomger then the other plants according to the radio this am. Low volume I guess.



In other local good news, one of our two Ford plants, (the other builds Explorers/Sport-Trac's) that builds all of the F250/F350 Super Duty trucks, is nor also producing the Expedition/Navagator suv's as well. Ford spent a lot of money here to make the plant flexible to be able to build both. The other plant is getting the same treatment for the 2011 model year when they are to produce a new compact car yet to be revealed.

I personally hope that all 3 makers survive. Way too many jobs will be lost if any of them go under because it is a very long food chain feeding the big three!!!!
