My point is we are not ok. Except minivans, 300, and magnums we are DOWN year to date. If sales were up warren truck assy would not keep going down for inv adjustments. It doesn't matter if its GM with its 1000 emp discount commercials or if its dc and its 1000 commercials telling you can get 10 grand off a ram. Its all the same. Up here you open a detroit newspaper on a sunday and 3/4 of the auto ads are dc dealers with desperation ads all over the place. The point is we are all hurting right now. DC is trying to paint a rosy picture but the roof is falling in around us. About the 25 thousand GM jobs. A lot will come through retirements, but I do feel their pain since if we close our third shift at the end of the year as planned (due to lack of sales) I too will lose my job!
