2009 Camaro Concept to be shown at the 06' NAIAS

the challenger is basically a 2 door version the charger, which has been around now for awhile and in production mind you... and that concept camaro looks little like any of the camaros already in existence... we will see what happens, if anything, with it.

Riiiiiiight......and it's on a shortened frame and looks absolutely like a chopped Charger....yeah....all about originality lemme tell ya....How long was the Camaro in production....gee lemme think 35 yrs?? Does Dodge even have a single car that's lasted that long ever??? Gee....lemme think.....ummm NO.....
This Camaro was a twist of retro vs. new school. It's a cross between a 69 Camaro with some more aero'd lines and a more aggressive stance. I believe this car will sell. I think its not perfect, but I like the newer styling. I hope they get it worked out and what have you. I will give you that it doesnt look like any current Camaro, but hey....new styling isnt always bad.
This is going to go to production, just like the Challenger.....the big hold up was always the chassis issue....not whether they wanted to bring back the car or not....
Oh, and since you wanna act like Ron, why dont you just get a life?

And my life is far better than some peon that works for Best Buy or Circuit City for sure... after all when was the last time you drove a Viper... uh never(and I dont mean around the parking lot). I on the other hand have driven more than I have toes and fingers to count them on just in the last year alone. And I get paid to drive them...
And by the way, the camaro only lasted in name, its has changed many times over the course of its namesake. Just like every manufacturer that keeps using the same model name. But your arguement there is moot since it has been since 2002 that a Camaro was even produced and theres no telling when exactly it will return. For now it still doesnt exist...

I am not acting like anybody but me... I cant help it that you have a hard on for a chevy, so take your attitude to the chevy forum where someone gives a crap. MOPARS have been whoopin chevy turds for years and years, it wont be till the z06 starts making its rounds that history will turn back on its self.

yeah give him a break. he simply stated he liked that car and you go telling him to go to other forums. i like the car myself. what does your life being better then a teenager and driving many vipers have to do with us liking the camaro?
because if I dont stimulate your minds at this hour of the morning who else will?
And this is the Dodge Forum, so MOPAR bias is going to be stronger here than anywhere else that you choose to express your love for a GM product.

no crap this is a dodge site, but there is no reason to jump all over the guy for stating his opinion, which i and others agree with. why single him out.

I have a couple Camaros and a Ram 1500 so I am in both forums all the time. I think if you weren't in your teens or lower 20's during the real muscle cars years or now, that you don't have the same respect for Mopar that people who were do. When I was growing up it was Camaro, Firebird, and Mustang. All dodge did was make damn mini-vans. Everyone has their own perspective and background. I didn't care about Dodge until the viper came out. Dodge easily missed a whole generation of people. I didn't think of buying a Ram until the Hemi came out. I love my Ram and I like the new direction Dodge is going. It sucked when they got rid of the Camaro so it is exciting to see them hopefully working to bring it back. I would rather they don't bring it back if it is going to be ugly or have no nuts. The new Mustang is nice and so is the Charger so hopefully Chevy will learn something from those 2 vehicles.
really, take a chill pill, just because this is a dodge forum doesn’t mean all we like dodge and only dodge, some people like other things, I mean we have ford owners and fans here as well, and they get in less fights about this stuff then most of you guys do, so don’t start picking on someone because they like a different brand, that’s immature, get over it
and how the hell does where you work or what you drive matter, that doesn’t make your life any better or worse, cut the childish bull****, seriously, its not even mildly amusing

Last time I checked assclown, this was OFF BRAND NEWS, meaning it has nothing to do with MOPAR....so that means I can express my comments freely.....I can also love a specific car and still be a MOPAR fan....so if you want to be a jackass, take it elsewhere....
Also, just because this is a MOPAR site, doesnt mean that everyone and their mother on here has to bow down before MOPAR....the truth is MOPAR cars have just as many failures and problems....as all the other brands....
Who the hell cares if I drove a Viper.........I surely don't. I drove the only Viper powered vehicle I cared to, the SRT-10 Ram. Took two of them for test drives. Great trucks. So because I didnt drive a Viper, I've missed out on life oh god no! Apparently you are more concerned with bragging rights and status then you are with actually knowing cars....
Truth of it is, the Viper doesnt interest me. I don't need to drive it....I've driven a couple of Porsches and even got to take a ride in a Lamborghini. I didnt drive it, but I still got to sit in one....
As for working at Best Buy or Circuit City, I wouldnt know, don't work there. I work for Indiana University....so before you want to go talking trash, I suggest you get your head out of your ***....
As for MOPAR, they produced some of the best and greatest performance/muscle cars all time. I would love to have a 68 Charger....one of my personal favorites. I grew up in and around the late 60's Camaros. My uncle and my 2nd cousin both had one. As for the rest of Chevy....I really don't care about them....I mean the Corvette yeah that's great....but thats about it.
Oh, and since you wanna talk about people.....yeah, you get paid to drive cars.....so the hell what.....last time I checked....they had a name for that....oh yeah....Valets
