charlie1935 yep your right it was a 170". i think it wasnt a 225 cause they wanted RPM over power, just a guess.

At the time the Hyper-Pak was built the 225 wasn't in production yet.

i didnt know that. i do know the hyper-pack was done very early on. it was for the nascar car race for the compact cars that was new in 1960.

UNDATE: for the BEST slant six info go to slantsix.org. it has the BEST slant six info around. it has THE right way to put the intake and ext way to bolt it to the head. and MUCH other info.
