Default Advise for finding parts 56 HHA-8

Hello all I am hoping someone on this form can give me some guidance. I just picked up a 1956 Dodge C3 HHA-8 2.5 ton. 259 V8 5 speed manual with 2 speed vac operated rear diff. I saw this truck and immediately knew I had to buy it. I am having a EXTREMELY hard time finding any parts or even any information about this truck. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. I did a quick walk around video if you are interested in hearing her run and a quick walk around.

Rock Auto shows some parts...... but, given the age, I think finding the 'less common' parts are gonna be fun. Anything specific you are looking for?

Cool Truck though. I can see why you couldn't resist.

Looking for a steering gear box. It is missing a couple bolts and has a ton of slack.

Might try adjusting it before opting for replacement. I suspect finding a 'new' box is gonna be difficult, at best....

You may want to take a closer look at it and see who made it. Don't know if they subbed out things like that back then like they do now. Should be at least a casting or part # on it. Might be a candidate for a power steering upgrade.
