i have a 83 dodge mirda also and from the sounds of it everyone else has the same problem as i do with mine, the back bumper plastic is breaking more and more by the day. i do have mine up for sale as well but i would like to see and have read others replys about what to do with the bumper so i will take some advice on what to do and how to do it from the replys. i am not sure what motor or all that is in it but i no it is a 8. you are dealing with a woman and needless to to say this one dont no much but enough to get me by. it has only 11657 orginal miles and only 2 have owned it. it is still a very clean car and i would like to keep it but it just sets here and slowly rots away. it is kept in garage but im not one to keep it if it is not used. i no it is not costing me anything to set there but meanwhile i would like to see about getting the bumper fixed. that is the only thing that is wrong with. i will check back on ohter replys for any other writters on mirda stuff. find it interesting that there are still more out there then i even knew about. by the way does anyone no how many were made and what years they were made?

I always was very interested in getting a V8 Mirada or a '78 SuperCoupe, but they like most Mopars are rare and hard to find especially in good condition at a reasonable price.

Because they all rusted away. My 1987 Diploma has gobs of body sealer through out and I'm still losing a wheel well to rust. At least it isn't as bad as my 1978 LeBaron, the frame rails rusted away on the insides at the front kick up.

got a late '66 A-100 van with a '78 318 auto trans. originally it had a poly 318 but i got the van after the swap. shes got 4 barrel edelbrock setup 3.90:1 rear. i fragged the 4.11:1 i boughtherwith. i got one of those "universal" wire harnesses for her so i wouldnt have to fabricate one."universal" apparently means GM, so i ended up fabricating one anyway. at least the wires were all labeled so it was somewhat easier. i also cut the back off to make her into a 3 door pickup. now im in the process of cutting her up to make her a retractable top convertible. very difficult n time consuming!! the 318 is coming out shortly to stick in the wife's '58 rambler(not a Mopar, but i can pretend cant i?). i have a '67 383 with 915 heads that should take the 318's place very nicely. i also have an '89 dyNASTY 3.0 liter that i grafted in the the front suspension from a '94 shadow 2.5 liter that i roached the trans in n junked. i had a '63 polara and a '59 desoto years ago plus various fords n gms. ALWAYS LOVE MY MOPARS THE BEST THOUGH.

try finding parts and info on a 71 C-body...(fury III)...these seem to be the bastard child of that generation..with all the chargers and challengers and cudas from that time period it seems as everyone has forgotten all about the old c bodies...;(...if anyone has any goodlinks for such info plz pm them to me i would greatly appreciate it...
