Default programming new keyless transmitter

Hey Whats up,

Im have a 2005 dodge stratus SXT and I never add a working keyless transmitter and i just bought 2 new ones, how do I program the new ones to the car without having a working transmitter, in the owner manuel it only give the direction to program new remote using a worki9ng remote....please help me i just spent $120 on these new remotes and i cant get them to work yet....

You can't. Assuming that your car is equipped with RKE, you will need a dealer or other shop with a DRBIII scan tool to program the first remote. Even if the car wasn't technically equipped with RKE, the shop may be able to "configure" your body control module to allow for RKE. I did this on a buddy's Neon-- it's possible if the factory did not configure the BCM-- I don't know if a dealer would be willing to do it though.
