well i almost to the point where i can lower my car down and start to drive it.... but in the meantime some of my friends who have imports are hatin.....now one has a modded wrx and the other a slightly modded vw 1.8t they say that they can put up a fight....no #$%#% way...im puttin outa lil under500hp in my 68 satellite.......anyoneever raced awrxwith about 310hp? would the allwheel drive make enought of a diff to be able to keep upwith me?

 

What mods are done to the WRX that's getting it to 310 hp and is this at the crank or at the wheels? A slightly modded 1.8t is nothing, I made a modded one look very stupid when I first got my SRT-4 and all I had was the Mopar BOV which adds nothingexcept sound, so it's a non-issue against your Satellite.

Where I live, everyone and their grandma, either drives STi's, Evo's, WRX's, SRT-4's, or DSM's. I've raced numerous WRX's and STi's. They are tough from a dig, due to AWD, but unless they're heavily modded, I always kill em top end. A 310hp WRX is nothin to fear. I've beat those and mild STi's in my near-stock 350Z. A 310whp WRX, however, could be a problem. Unless you have slicks, or good DR's, he'll take you out of the pretty bad, and it'll be hard to catch him from there. From a roll though, generally speaking, those cars a joke.

well first thers more than a cam and intake i just dont have it on there yet......and a wrx comes with 230 hp stock.......but hes put money into it and it is running about 310 hp....sry about the contradiction it was a late night for me i have been workin on my car every second i can so i can get it on the road....the 440s never came in the 68 satellite.....mines from a 72 chevey.....still does allwheel drive make that much of a diff?

 

what do you mean that your 440 came from a72 chevey? what else is done to it? why do you not list real mods but you do list valve covers and gauges?

well when i say it came from a 72 chevey......i mean it came from a 72 chevey......there are more mods i will wrk on getting them up.....but i am new to old school.....i have driven alot of newer stuff.....

um yea they did in 71.....i made the mistake of putting 72....and the other cars were not mine....i just used them how else could i afford a 911, ferrari, and my fav my girls 07 corvette........i actually know how to do a roadcourse to some extent.....not saying that im a pro but im not bad......i dont justrace in a straight line....
