Since my instalation of the DOHC pcm on my SOHC Automatic, I have gained lots of low end power and have been able to smoke cars off the line now, I waxed a 90s Neon today with the raised hood might have been a DOHC or a poser DOHC car but either wayit was pwned pretty good off the line and a masacre by the time I hit 75mph. Gota love those highwayon ramp races [8D]

My wifetold me that i should post this one on my own post. I didn't think of it really.The other night my wife and I was on the way home and a car flies up on me from behind @ first I thought it was a cop, But then I could see the headlights and knew it wasn't a cop. My wife said out run this car. So I get on the gas a little and get it up to 75 MPH. He then get so close to my bumper I couldn't see his headlights.He then gets besides me and it is a Mercedes-Benz SL(@ the time I wasn't sure if it was a 500(nonturbo) or 600(turbo).Wife said go. I floored it, looked into the rearveiw and themheadlights were fading fastandthe next thing I know I am running over 140 MPH. I pulled off on an exit and waited. Set there for two minutes and he comes fling by an own down the interstate. About two weeks later a guy walks up to my car as I am getting out of it and asked me about racing a car on the interstate late one night. Kind of nervous I said yes. He says that there was no way I out ran him. I told him we could race them again. He said he is not going to be embarassed like that again. When he walked away to get into his car I looked on the back of the car and it was the 500 (nonturbo). I get home and look it up in the net and it is a $64000.00 car and I blew it away with a car that I have less than $5000.00 in.

nice... i had a 3000gt come up on me in my first neon twwice. the first time i was on my lunch break and i saw a white car flying up on me. i thought it was the town cop so i didnt really care because i was just heading across the town limits to my house. i came to the last stop sign and saw that it was a guy i know from college. i oulled out with no intentions to race but when i saw him trailing me all of a suden i stepped on it. i left him easily till about 90 mph then he crept up to my side and the back even to my rear bumper ... sat that way the rest of the way down the road. about a month later i was on my way to dover to get some shoes and stop at the parts store to get a clutch for my blazer and he came up on me again ... this time i took him till about 115. after that it was a repeat of the first time and we sat even/. of corse i have had many other race that i dont have time to talk about with comaro's and stangs and various imports

 

a few christmases ago this guy in a camaro tried racing me at 3 stop lights in a row
i beat him at the first 2 then my girlfriend had called so he passed me then cut me off
so then when i got off the phone i downshifted, road his ***, then cut him off


this other time i was going to eat dinner with her and these two guys pulled up in a similar camaro and looked at us and my car and started laughing
so at the light we took off and i ended up cutting him off too


i have horrible road rage sometimes...

There was no Dodge vehicle of any kind involved, but since there are so many mustangs getting manhandled I'll tell my story. I was in a 77 Jeep Wagoneer (about 2.5 tons of metal, no joke) with a stock 6.6 liter and a finicky 850 carb. A mustang pulls next to me at a redlight and the driver smiles at me. I smile back and let it rip when it turned green. The stang never had a chance

when i was driving my bug these dumb kids in a bronco II pulled up next to me at a light
they both looked over and started smiling at me and he revved his engine
i knew my bug had no chance giving that it only has 70 horsepower
but to my surprise!!!!
i took off on him and he barely staid 3 car lengths behind me

 

i really like reading some of the stories in this post I started lets see if I or we can keep it going
