this was embarising!
ok so im on the interstate minding my own business, when this trailblazer starts messn with me about a 02 model i guess, well i get on it i drop it in second gear and jump ahead then i throw it in drive and then he comes up right beside me and is staying with me till i hit about 85 and i start pulln on him, but the only motor i know that comes in those trailblazers is the 4.2 inline 5cyl and that was against my 99 durango 4x4 360 v8 with an CAI 180 statand e-fan, my ride must be out of shape what do yall think?
Yeah, the SS's have the 6.0LS2 from the Vette and GTO. They're rated at 390hp. Low 14's from the factory. A simple intake and tune really wakes them up, too.
And the 5.3 being a 325 surprises everyone. Just like how the LS1 isn't really a 350. It's a 346.5 cu in.

I'm pretty sure the new Hemi is a 345, but I could be wrong on that one. Plus I thought I remember hearin how it made 1 horsepower per cubic inch, just like howthe 331ci Hemi was the first mass producedengine to do so.

I have to politely disagree w/ you here. The 331 cu in Hemi at 331 hp used in the 1957 Chrysler 300 was the first mass-produced engine to reach the 1hp per 1ci. GM's 283 Fuelie w/ 283 hpin the 1958 Vette also beat the the 327 you speak of.
