Beating an Accord
I was actually linked to this forum from another member because I'm from Sioux Falls and I used to drive a 00 Accord V6.
Do you remember what color the Accord was? What color is your Daytona? I don't believe I've ever raced you but I have raced a 2.5L turbo 5speed swapped Dodge Shadow. Granted he also had people in his car...He was a good sport about it http://www.v6performance.net/forums/...ad.php?t=33274 My time with Intake/Mufflers and heavier Rims:
610
2.355
6.602
10.180
71.75
13.127
15.668
89.94

The 6 cylinder Accord make 200hp and 150 Tq at the crank. There are not to many mods for it besides intake and exhaust. From 98 to 02 the came in Auto only (V6 models). They need to be above 3500 rpms for the VTEC to operate. They are pretty quick.
Your Daytona sounds nice, good kill.

There are alot of mods available, various assortments of CAI/WAI, Headers/downpipes from Stone racing and Comptech to various assorments of catbacks. If you want to get more serious, there is a Dr. Evil built transmission, Comptech S/C with an upgraded Acura TL-S/CL-S pulley, CL-S/TL-S cams, various ignition systems. You can also do your own assortment of 3.0-3.5 blocks on 3.0-3.5 heads from the same engine family with some modifications Basically more than your average sedan, but the quickest 98-02 Accord is still stuck running low 13's, which is quite sad considering where other carmakers V6's have been. The 98-02 Accord with the J30A1 V6 got the ***-end of everything while other engines in the J family are much more performance minded.
