This kind of stuff happens here from time to time. We'll give him a chance to prove his point....

 

i have seen the video he is talking about with an integra and a viper. the integra was a turbo'd Type R...it was Not your run of the mill ricer. i believe the letters are "gsr"? something like that...they can be very fast, and it was toward a seemingly stock viper.

 

There was a video posted on here a while back that had a little Honda running a Viper from a roll and was right with it. I suppose anything is possible.

 

well, when you take a stock viper, and dump 50g into pretty much anything...that anything will at least be competitive...but at some point you have to compare marginal cost to marginal benefit. i could have bought a 93 viper for 23g, plus my car. would that have happened, i would have paid the same amount for that as i had my stratus, but every additional dollar spent would have alot mroe effect on a viper then it would an integra...a fast integra with 50g worth of mods MAY BE worth what, 10g? you can never get mods out of a car liek that...as where a 25g viper with 10g worth of mods will run over that same integra, and will bring alot more money modified...

 

There are plenty of 4 banger FWD's in the single digits these days, so finding one at the track that can beat a stock Viper isn't that difficult.
