Default Mustang GT

HAd some fun with a Gt today getting on the highway. I was in the Intrepid with my wife, all her sewing crap including the machine, my bike was on the hitchrack.

This guy blew by me right before hitting the on ramp and seemed to carry some speed. I decided I'd measure the Intrepid against the GT, so I got it as we were going around the circular on-ramp. I got the dudes attention immediately. He jumped on it , but couldn't hold the turn as well as the Intrepid. As we started to merge he really hammered it judging from the rust that came out of the pipes. He may have gotten a car length on me as we ran it up to about 90 MPH when He decided that was enough.

It was probably a good thing since my wife was about to rip into me for messing with this guy.

All I can say is he should be happy I didn't have the Hemi. I'm sure i would have run him over.

It was a ninety something. It was the body style when they had both the 5.0L and the 4.6L available.

I love those circular ramps, especially if they are from one freeway to another. I had fun one my favorite such ramp around here tonight, I blew by someone in a new riced up Cavalier, I went by so fast he probably didn't even know what it was that went by.

MId 90's. If memory serves, it was the same body style that had the 5.0L the first year or so, then the 4.6L came out and replaced the 5.0L. I'm no Mustang expert by any stretch, but is was a v-8 car for sure.

I'm telling you, it was like a mid 90's body. Not sure what a fox body is. I mean, if I had to attach an animal name to one, I'd have to call it a "dog body."
