Default Falling Apart

On my way home last night as I merged from one freeway onto another I was going around 5 mph over to keep from slowing things down and merge nicely, even though it comes in and creates it's own lane which happens to be the left lane. Some ricer decides he wants to run me after this merger and immediately jumps into the right/middle lane to pass me just to be held back by the slower traffic in that lane, the far right lane ends within a mile making it just2 lanes instead of 3,and then he gets back behind me riding my bumper. I saw that is was a red car with the typical ricer bare white body kit on it which looked to be Civic or something like it. Every time we get past a car he jumps over and guns it trying to pass me, and I'm running between 5-10 mph over, only to encounter the same dilema of another car ahead and not enough room. This happens about 5 or 6 times before the road ahead of me is clear and so is the other lane and when he jumped over and tried again. This time he gets about even and I drop it to 4th gear andhalf throttle it leaving him far behind. Then there comes another merge point where it opens up to 4-5 lanes and have coasted back down to the speed limit and my exit is the second one after that merger. He approaches again in the right lane and is beside me about half a car ahead with a car in front of him, but this time I'm brought to tears of laughter when I look over[sm=icon_rofl.gif]............His rear bumper/body kit was falling off on the driver side inches above the ground barely holding on on the passenger side and it wasn't that way before.[sm=laughat.gif]It's almost as if I blew his bumper off.

I told someone at work about that today and he asked it it were a red 4 door Civic because he said he saw it yesterday and was laughing at it because the bumper was falling off. Talk about irony as well as funny.

hahha, that is a good story..... i hate the ricers in my town, and 99.9% of them r in my town, to easy to take advantage of them........

accually just made me think of a story....

one day i was drivin around and this kid pulls up next to me in i think a saturn..... he reved his engine with his fart can, i just looked over and laughed...(i knew the kid) the light turns green and i just sat at the light waiting for him to get a good lead..... when he did, i jumped on it, and passed him doing about 80, he still says my car and my "reaction time" is slow, i just laugh at him every time..... i beet him and gave him about a four car lenght lead..... people like that give us built engine 4 cylinders cars a bad name...... DAMN RICERS!!!!!!!

This past sunday when I went for food there was a Civic that was riced out with all the F&F stuff, red with stickers all over, 2 slap on fake hood scoops, lowered with big wheels, full body kit, HUGE aluminium wing, fart can, etc. It was going the same way I was and I hoped he would have caught up and wanted to play, the street was pretty empty for a change, but that didn't seem to be the case as he stayed back a way. All I could do from the moment I passed by him as he was comming onto the street I was on to the time he turned off the street was laugh and the laughter grew the more I saw it. On my way back home with said food I was forced into laughter again when turning onto another street, there was a Grand Am with a very, similar to the riced Civic's, HUGE aluminium wing on it. The next day at work I watched and again laughedas ared S-10 with a hard bed cover went by sporting a similar HUGE aluminium wing. Unfortunately ricers are in every type and kind of vehicle making any and all kinds of vehicles into rolling laugh tracks and making innocent cars into rollingdumpsters (most of them have the trash cans for exhaust tips to prove it).

I was on my way home after picking up my new-to-me 94 Stealth TT a number of years ago. Of course it was totally stock but in very good shape - only 70k miles after 9 years. During the all-interstate drive, some soccer mom was in a hurry and hated that I kept passing her in traffic. I'd maintain a single lane and she'd hop between them trying to make progress.

Traffic thinned out and we had some room so I decided to pass her for good. She decided her Chevy Blazer wasn't to be passed and she nailed it, taking it to its speed limiter (somewhere around 98-105 mph) and bouncing it off the limiter. She held that speed for miles! I easily blew by her but she kept in the throttle. I didn't want a ticket so I let off and she passed by with a triumphant wave. Well, I wan't about to let that happen.

I was behind her again, still bouncing off her speed limiter, when it happened. White smoke started rolling from her vehicle. That's right - she blew it up! At the minimum it was the radiator or hose, but it looked like Hollywood special effects. I was laughing so hard I nearly wet myself and gave her a big friendly wave as she headed for the shoulder. I hope she blew a head gasket or something - she deserved it!
