Figured some of you might find this interesting. My father is currently doing Hydraulic work and fuel line work on this awesome yacht, of course it isn't when I am down there[:@] The boat is called the Lohengrin, a 161 ft. Trinity built yacht owned by Hendricks Motor Sports with two, V12 twin turbo cats, putting out 2500 Hp each. Total diesel capacity is 15,000 gallons and she can cruise at 40 knots for 3,000 miles. The entire engine room is stainless steel and chrome, so obviously it was hard for him to get some decent shots of it. He was telling me how there are two stainless steel hydraulic fittings that are only as old as the boat (about 2 years), that are completely hidden in the engine room. They needed tightened as they were leaking, but they wanted new fittings. HIS cost as an aeroquip distributor was about $650 bucks A PIECE! Cost to them is about $1000 bucks a piece, and he gets to keep the old ones. That is just a small example of how much money these guys have, lol.
Hey I got a Honda from his stealerships. Well The civic i used to drive was bought new from Hendricks Honda. But we did get 6000 off of a brand new car.
Nice boat and I have met one of his son's very nice guy.
