Default Kool street race

Me and some guys met up miles away from a lil town out in the middle of nowhere.....

there was a camaro ss, trans am, formula firebird, srt-4 with a 50 trim, hatchback civic turbod and intercooled, and a white evo not sure what model...

It was awesome cuz i was the underdog...glancing around it was apparent that i had the slowest car there...WRONG lol

i beat the evo no prob....he got the jump on me and i actually caught up and past him....

then i raced the civic...that thing was mean...he got the jump on me again (cuz they were making me honk the horn) and he decided he wanted to do a 20 roll in first....i was slowly but surely closing the gap but he won...it was a great race....
all i did was wheel hop 1st and spin most of second if i woulda had more traction or we launched from a 50 roll i woulda had him...also seen my heater was on the whole time racing him LOL....

well just thought i would share cuz it was a great experience...no cops and no wrecks lol....i didnt race none of the v-8s because every car there was built and it was pointless

Oh and the 50 trim srt-4 raced the civic but got owned b/c his car wasnt tuned worth a flip...i couldve beat him with the stock turbo...dissapointing really....it was a 98 rt neon he converted to a srt...from front to back...i mean dude poured some money into this car its crazy money lol....

ive seen several completely stock looking civic hatchbacks run in the deep 12s...there are a few hatchbacks running around the pittsburgh area packing lightly boosted (back then it was lightly) K20s...the last time that i ran one at the track, it looked very slow...there was nothing done to the exterior of the car, and the interior looked like it had been cleaned out at the track. he had some tiny DRs on the front and an old helmet, but i still expected to wax this kid...i ran something like a 12.50...he ran in the 12 teens...i was shocked, to say the least...

Yeah, but to have no prob w/ the Evo even thought the Evo got the jump??? Idk, not doubting the story, just sounds a little odd...... [&:]

YEAH, civics can be very fast if built, and running the correct engine.... k20, or b series.... then can put alot of power to them pritty cheap also to build......
