Default "3" on ESPN... Thoughts...

I loved it, but I'll love any movie about Dale. I'll be buying it. The end made me cry... but whenever I think of the crash I cry... so I expected it.

What did you think?

I enjoyed it. Never a big Dale fan but if that movie is true to life I understand the man better.

I think there were SOME things that weren't true... it wasn't DEI approved so we won't know uuntil a DEI approved movie is made, like the nightmares... I watched the live thing on ESPN classic following the movie and they said they weren't sure about that part either... but nonetheless, I really enjoyed "3".

Yeah, it was a good movie. They always add "extra" stuff in those things to make the story flow better and keep people interested. I now feel like I can respect Dale Sr. a bit more than I did before. I used to think of him as a reckless bully. He was more complex and talented than I gave him credit for.....

I didn't like the movie at all... seemed to fake to me... I was too busy making fun of the people who played drivers they had nothing to look like, when he threw down the money from winning on the table when he read the note "You Got Racing" which were brand new twenties, a 1991 Jeep Grand Wagonner was pulling a trailer when he was talking to his two kids at his first cup race... I was too busy picking up flaws!

Awesome movie. It made you go through many emotions. And I also gained more respect for Earnhardt after seeing the movie. I went out and bought the DVD the first day it came out.

Yeah, if they show it again, I'll watch it again, I always see something I missed when I watch a movie the second time.

I always enjoy spotting the errors in war movies (like using American tanks painted with German markings) or seeing actors pretending to be modern airmen, sailors, etc.....90% of the time their decorations (ribbons/medals) are wrong and they almost never have their hair cut short enough to meet military standards!!!!!
