A while back i had a saturn ion to drive while i was working on my stealth .. This guy in a Mustang gt wanted to race and i told him that the only way id do it was if we done a road course. He agreed to it so we started off on the interstate and he was a good 5 or 6 lenghts infrount of me when we got to the exit and we took it about 1/2 mile up the road there was a 90 degree curve whitch he slowed down to about 30 on i grabbed the e brake and slid in right beside him He about died it looked like ... I took off alittle ahead of him and stayed that way through the next 90 degree curve . After that curve he passd me because he just had more hp .. I drafted him for a good 2 miles before being able to get up beside him where we called the race ... If i had my steath back then and not that piece of saturn it would have been a blow out

yeah it was an 07 shelby gt with a procharger ..... no ******* it was a 2001 gt bone stock with 5 speed trans

 

there must be something SEVERELY wrong with that mustang, or the driver is completely worthless...an 18 second car wont beat a 13 second car, no matter how sharp the turn is...unless the 13 second car is a rail.

 

Well, since you were the first to resort to name calling- There's no way you could have beat a New Edge GT driven by anyome who knew the difference between the gas and the brakes. Leave your fantasies for playing World of Warcraft, *******......

 

to be honest Saturn is a piece of junk car. My little 4 banger on steriods will smoke that junk and bring it back to the junkyard.. The gt's are slow themselves.;. its a waste of time comparing Saturn IOn and Mustang gT.. both slow and boring cars.
