Default cooked rice!!

In the area that I live there quite a few high end,if you can call them that, import tuners. Well just before I put my car away for the spring a new wrx sti with some stage 3 million or whatever pops up near my home. Now hearing stories about the silver bullet this guy decides to ring my bell and point blank ask me if I wanted to race. Mind you I have my 5 month old at the time puking down my shirt. I politley decline and tell him maybe some other time.
For a week this idiot revs his car everytime he goes by my house and does a cheap burnout. I then hear from a neighbor that he supposedly had 450 hp going to the wheels and that he has "smoked numerous vipers".
Well one sunday morning at about 6;30am I am going to dunkin donuts for my wifes daily cofee fix and run into him. He gets right on my bumper. I calmly head to the closed circuit racing course, local highway, and slow to a stop. I ask him what he wants to bet on this race. He tells me $500.00 bucks. I then tell him does he want his beating from a roll, dead stop? He replies does not matter. I then tell him ok 0 to 150mph then shut down.
Guys and girls by the time I hit 80mph he was ten cars back. At 150mph I could barely makeout that picnic bench spoiler.
Moral of the story. Don't act like your car is the fastest on the planet because someone is always faster. Kind of like the shelby cobra replica I met one night. One of the fastest cars I have ever been in!!! <img border="0" src=smileys/smiley4.gif border="0">
Still waiting for the $500.00. <img border="0" src=smileys/smiley7.gif border="0"> Has not been past my house since. <img src=uploads/silverbullet/F31BD_viper98.JPG border="0">

I met a guy who has a stock Viper GTS and I saw him race a 600+HP Twin Turbo Supra. They both displayed their dyno sheets and the guy in the Supra wasn't lying. Well I like American cars but I honestly didn't expect the Viper to win. I was in my HEMIwhich I thoughtwas fast, well I'm just happy I could still see their tailights! Well much to my surprise the Viper's lights kept getting smaller than the Supra's, and just before they went out of view I saw the Viper's brake lights come on and move in front of the Supra. I caught them at a Sonic and I saw the videos from both of the chase cars, the Viper killed that Supra! That Supra had at least 150 horses on the Viper and the closest that Supra got to being ahead of the Viper was on the line before the race. I was amazed. I was also happy the Viper won. </P>

I also had an encounter with a ricer but it was on a slower level <IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">.</P>I came across a group of ricers that consisted of2 Civics (1 was a Vtec), 4 Integras (1 was a Type R), and a 350Z. Allexcept the Z were modified. The Vtec was the fastest Civic and didn't want to race. The Type R Integra was the fastest Integra of the group and faster than the Vtec so I asked if he wanted to race. He asked my if I was crazy and kept pointing to his Type R decal. I pointed to my HEMI badge. I must admit I have a poker face because I thought he was going to beat me. I only raced him out of curiosity because everyone talks about how fast they are and that is the only time I've seen one. Well I took him by 1 to 1/2 car length until 95mph when he finally started to pull on me. We slowed down but I'm guessing that if we had kept going he would have passed me at 105-110.Hopefully he would, since everytime I have maxed out my truck the governer kicks in at 107-110. He was blown away, my truck weighs more than twice as much as his car. He then got mad and started asking if I wanted to race his friend's 350Z. Like the guy in the Civic, I wisely said no. I love my HEMI but I'm pretty sure that Z would have taken me. I'll just go find him in march when we get the SRT-10. <IMG src=smileys/smiley36.gif border="0"><edited><editID>vHiEpMeIr</editID><editDate>38012.0564467593</editDate></edited>

The Type R decal is just that. There is no true Type R Integra in the US. They do have a GS-R 170 HP 1.8L VTEC, but this is not a true Type R.

I have also had fun with one of these. He was behind me chirping his tires and acting all big and bad, some cocky Asian dude behind the wheel, so I couldn't let it go. It was all riced out with the fart can muffler, lowered, big wheels, CAI, etc., and it ran pretty good against my R/T, but it takes a Mopar to catch a Mopar and I proved it. I was on my way to register my Roadrunner for a car show and I was wishing he was still around when I came back to go to the show with it, so I could really teach him the meaning of Mopar. <img border="0" src=smileys/smiley15.gif border="0"> <edited><editID>71ROADRUNNER</editID><editDate>38012.1770717593</editDate></edited>

Hi Amanda, Not my daily driver. I have a 99 plymouth breeze with 150,000 miles and a 1997 chevy cav with 160,000 miles. Both going strong.
I am starting to look into a ram Hemi to replace one of them though. <img border="0" src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">

Default RE: cooked rice!!

There is a Type R in the united states. Its a 1.8L 195HP Vtec. The WRX STi runs a 13.2 stock with 302 horses. If he really had 400 some odd ***** then he should have beaten you. The people with domestics are amazing, they brag about how big their motors are, and how much horsepower theyve got. When you sit and think about it, a 1.8 creating 195 horses is ridiculously high, the HP per litre is amazing, and proves that domestics use no technology or thought when they design their cars. Howcan you brag and talk all your crap when you beat a stock civic, or a riced out import. I cant wait to see what you guys do when you see a CRX run a 12 with a stock motor.
