My friend raced one in his Audi A6 2.7T(which is twin turbo 250hp) up to about 130, he got completely toasted. BTW the audi was stock, its an auto. 1/4 times for those are like high 14's. So, no competition to the Porsche. You'd have to mod the hell out of an SRT to keep up with a stock one.

 

i thought only the S6s were forced induction, with the A6 being naturally aspirated...im not flamming, im acutally more curious than anything?

No, the A6 can get a 2.8L(190) n/a, a 3.0L(225hp) n/a, 4.2L(300) n/a, and the 2.7T twin turbo(250hp) There is the 6spd avail. for the 2.7T, but the rest is Tiptronic 5spd auto. Nice cars tho, my dad has an A4 1.8T(single turbo) 5spd. Fun cars.

 

Yes, A6 2.7T's are Turbo. 6speed ones can run low 14's with a high rpm dump clutch. The only Porsche ever to come with a V6 would be the current Cheyane (sp?) with a VR6 narrow angle V6 (15 degree). Otherwise, Porsches are Flat-6's, V8's, or V10's
