Bill Elliott and Ganassi Racing in 2005?
Seen this rumor posted on several sites, that Ganassi w/ let Bill drive a Coors Light backed Dodge Charger for a limited schedule this year... remember that bill did run a Coors Light backed Thunderbird back during his Melling Racing days.

It would be good to see elliot on the track. With Ganassi, he should have a a good machine to run. I didn't know that he wasn't still under contract with Everham.

He still is under contract w/ Evernham Motorsports... and he is part owner too... however remember that Evernham Motorsports, Petty Enterprises, Chip Ganassi Racing w/ Felix Sebates, and Penske Racing are all factory teams, and use Dodge's "One Team" effort program, like what is used in the truck series, to develop engines, cars, and compare notes... which would allow this to be no problem!

A post on jayski.com has a rumor that says Elliott could be in a Coors Light Ganassi car for the Daytona 500... which means they would run in the Gatorade Dual at Daytona... I will be on the lookout for more info...
