Hey guys... i am from the clubgp.. i did not come here to hate at all. I like dodge, and I really respect the SRT-4. Very nice car. A friend of mine has one... and we race all the time.

Very easily modded car that runs VERY well.

I am decently modded, making it to the track and running a 13.6 with rockers, exhuast, intake, 3.25" pulley, reprogrammed PCM, spark plugs, 180 tstat.
since then I added a stage 2 cam, Headers, 3.1" Pulley, and throttle body so i should be running strong.

I did not come here to start a war. I cannot speak for the people talking trash over there, i just viewed it. Apparently it started with the Ram beating a Grand prix GT? Im not gonna lie, the GT's are dogs up top, no top end WHAT SO EVER. Same with the GTP's somewhat. But as all you car enthusists know, the 3800 is a very easily modded engine, especially if equipped with a supercharger. A handful of people over at clubgp will act like tools, but what do you expect for a few bad eggs out of 15,000 members?

Hey i can list all the pros and cons of owning a pontiac.. But we can easily say the same with Dodge. I like dodge, dont get me wrong, but it goes around. At least we dont own imports right?

A couple friends of mine got ate up by GTP's at the track, one had a 2nd gen. RX-7 w/5spd., all emissions removed, CAI and ported & polished intake and the other has an '03 Tiburon GT V6 w/6spd., Injen CAI and Evo exhaust. The one with the Tib had a '79 Trans Am Bandit Edition w/auto and the 403 Olds motor as his first car and it was a great & fast looking sled that could barely spin it's tires on wet ice. It looked bad *** and sounded nice, but it was just sooo sad, they weigh an ungodly amount and only have 185 horsepower with the 403[:'(]. I would still like to get an '83 Trans Am to make into KITT.

 

One of my biggest problems with this forum is the amount of flaming that goes on here about other cars. I have seen alot of different forums for different types of cars, but nowhere have I seen the bashing that goes on here. I understand that most everyone here is a Mopar fan (I am too) but why all the hate of anything non-DCX? If you don't like it, don't buy it, but why bash others for liking something else? Club Gay Pride??? That's just juvenile. I owned a 2001 Grand Prix GT and it was one of the best cars I have ever owned. Of course they have flamers over there too, but it's not as bad as what I see here.

BTW....I think those guys are right about Hemi Ram drivers.

i like Pontiac. i would take a G6 over a stratus any day. Pontiac people are good people generally. if i wasn't a Chrysler fan, general motors would be my next choice. they are a good American company with good American workers, who make good American cars. also good point dodge and Pontiac should be ripping on foreign and fords instead of each other.

It's not important what they think, or what we think of one another. It's pretty simple. Ignore it if you don't like it. Unless of course you enjoy a good arguement, like me.

BTW. I love my truck cause it's got a Hemi and it's unbeatable.

I'm not saying i dont like pontiac or people who drive them....i mean, they are good cars (sporty, reliable, fun to drive)...and also the fact that in the starting thread i wrote "a couple of my firends drive pontiacs" I was just wondering as to why they started talking crap. Oh well...i guess I will deal with it and just let stuff fly.
