Default F.A.S.T. Drags

Do any of you follow F.A.S.T. drag racing? It stands for Factory Appearing Stock Tires. Most of these cars run from 11s to 13s. The engines and cars must look stock which means stock exhaust manifolds, air cleaners, etc. And, they have to run on bias ply tires similar to what they came with new. We're talking 6 inch, old compound tires! Some of the cars that seem to dominate are a '67 Hemi GTX, a '70 Hemi Challenger, a '70 Challenger T/A, a '69 Hemi Roadrunner, a '70 455 Buick GS and a '69 ZL-1 Camaro. These guys all run consistent mid 11s. The Roadrunner recently raised the bar and ran a 10.8 - on bias ply tires. It's a lot of fun watching cars that look like they just came off of the showroom running that fast.

Yep, I've been interested in it. They are basically the best of the sleepers.
