I was heading to Starbucks with my friend on 45 when this blue newer civic (2000-2004) EX pulls next to me on my left and revs his engine. We were doing about 70. He keeps giving me the ricer eye and it pisses me off. I floor it and so does he. I pulled about a car and a half by 100. All i could see was his headlights. Then he switches lanes behind me and jumps to the right lane. I see his headlights jump up and can hear his engine rpms go way up real fast. He passes me like im standing still and im still flooring it. Then throws on his blinkers. We both slowed down to the normal speed limit and i can see he had a NOS sticker on his window. He rolled down his window and so did i. He yelled GOOD RUN BUT I GOT NOS. Then he gave me the thumbs up and took an exit. Needless to say now i feel bad. Damn hondas lol. I know street racing is bad. It was my first run in like 3 months. DAMN

 

See, he had to use NOS to beat you. To me, that is like cheating. If I had to use that stuff to beat someone who didn't have it. I would feel real stupid.

 

Thats how I feel to. But if it makes you win races and feel good about yourself whatever.

would a I4 vs a V8 be cheating if the I4 had a turbo and the V8 was N/A and the I4 won?

 

Nitrous isn't cheating, if you have to have a turbo the size of your head to beat someone then so be it. Both people could use it if they choose, I mean thats if I they have it. But its not like only some people can get it. Cheating to me is leaving early and winning because of it.

 

winning is winning...i dont care if what you do..if your car goes faster..you win...

 

Well, if he had no NOS then you would have won. But he still won. I don't think NOS is cheating, but atleast you know engine to engine you would have had him. Plus, you should have checked out his car a little bit more. How did you not see the NOS sticker before you raced.

 

A win is a win. Doesn't matter if it's by .2 seconds or a minute.

I smell boost in the near future. I didn't see the sticker because he was on my left when we started. The sticker was on the driver side window. When he switched lanes and got me he was on my right. Thats when i saw the sticker. O well he won but that just gives me more reason to mod my car.

 

Speaking of stickers, just add a few "Type-R" stickers and I'm sure your Neon will own that guy
