RE: Budweiser Shootout. Yawn.
Looks like were in for another year of Chevy domination with NASCARS blessings.
The Charger doesnt look any faster than the 'Trep. I would think the Evernham cars should have been closer to the front.
Dodge needs a better motor, they've hit the wall with that 40 year old truck mill, they just cant make it any better or they would have.
If Toyota can use that bastard, race-only non-production engine, then why cant Dodge run the Hemi?
Dodge need to do some serious hell-raising and arm twisting to get competitive.

Nascar used to be cool, but over the last 5-8 years for the most part and since restrictor plates partially, it has really gone downhill. They have completely legislated the Manufacturers out of the sport. The cars don't even look like what they sell in the showroom, the engines are no longer used in anything for sale by the dealer, and the majority of the technology is older than most people who watch the damn races. That and I have to waste a whole day to watch them get the thing done.
I think the drivers and owners should start their own race series and leave nascar in the dark.
