Prelude goes Byebye
I was driving my HEMI one night and two guys in a new Prelude pulled up to me wanting to race. He said it was stock but I could hear is Turbocharger when he reved. We raced and I beat him by a car length but it didn't really count, neither of us knew we were racing. We did one of those runs where I went fasterfrom the light, then he sped up, then I sped up, then we both floored it. At the next light we knew we were going to race. The light turned green and I pulled ahead of him immediately. At 65 he came as close as he was going to getto being ahead of me, his bumper was at my front tire. At 75 I started pulling away and by 85 I had a good lead. I was watching him in my right side rear-view mirror, I hit 90 and my friend in the passenger seat yelled Holy , Ilooked at the mirror and he was gone. I then looked in the main rear-view mirror and I see him way way back, I looked at my speedometer and I was between 95 and 100, I thought his radar detector went off so I hit the brakes. I asked what happened and my friend said that there was a bang, sparks, and it seemed like he came to a complete stop. I couldn't here anything over my exhaust. I slowed to 35 and he still wasn't catching up, I kept slowing down untill I was at 15. I could smell his burnt clutch before he caught up to me, he gave me the finger and turned into a parking lot. I figure he was going from 4th to 5th and somehow shifted into reverse.

I didn't know that. Now I figure one of three things happened: My first idea is that he was playing with me, which is probably worse because he messed his car up and he wasn't even racing. 2nd is that he bought a really crappy Turbocharger. 3rd is that he's a really bad stick driver. I think we already knew this judging by his 4th gear mishap but he could have also screwed up the gears before then too.
