My friend and I are arguing right now about how this race would turn out. I, of course, say the SRT4 would walk on an S2000 but honestly I dont know. If you have raced one or are certain of the outcome please lemme know.

 

What kind of race are you talking about? Drag race, autocross, road race? if it's a drag race then will it be from a dead stop or from a roll or are you going to go from a dig?

 

As long as you are going in a straight line you should win. If you throw corners in to it then the s2000 should beat you easily.

 

the s2000 will only beat the SRT4 if the driver knows where the powerband is, and can keep it there....

 

I say srt-4 takes it. The are some supercharged S2K's that are really quick. Remember that V-Tec does not start until 3500 rpms.

 

The SRT-4 no doubt on a straight away.

i actually thought that the VTEC setup in my buddies S2000 is a bit higher than 3500...when we race, my RT versus his S....i can almost hang...until i hear it kick in...then he walks me....

 

I find it hard to beleive that a s can take the srt in a straight line. Are they really that quick?

 

a stock S with a good driver, who knows the vehicle should be able to run with a stage zero SRT4....especially considering how most of the SRT4 drivers drive...

 

That's pretty impressive IMO. I figured the S would probably out handle the SRT.
