dodge ram quadcab hemi vs nissan titan

Guys I know that Im new to this forum, but I think that this titan vs hemi issue is a little to serious. They didn't build these trucks to race(although Im guilty to), they are built for work mostly.

...but they will never build a truck to compete with the SRT-10.The FORD LIGHTNING, and CHEVY SS were discontinued because of SRT-10.The only thing that stopped the contiuence of the truck was it's price.

And to stay on topic...mmmmmm...f**k it...Lock this sucker up! This is way to old of a post!
I have never run a titan in my hemi qc... but I have run one in my slightly modded gen 2 ram... and I pulled him hard out of the hole and my truck felt like it just gave up at around 50 and he got about a length on me...
I don't follow the statement that the rams have crappy gearing my new on has 3.92 gears with the 20's and it really helps negate the loss of low end punch you would expect with 20" wheels...

Why? We're talking full size trucks aren't we? I know the original question was Hemi Ram vs Titan but wasn't some Titan guy on here before flaming Rams? Well, I say, bring on your best and run against our best. C'mon, I want to play too. PLEEEEASE! Pretty PLEEEEASE!

whats the point in coming on here trolling like that? do you have so boring of a life that you create an account here just to post a few times? and you have a car with 2 cylinders? wtf? and by the way we are comparing trucks to trucks not cars to trucks. if you wanna play that game then we have the viper which will spank anything youve got.
I agree with someone above. You may be able to race trucks but the true test of a truck is not speed and the Ram has dominated in the actual truck areas.
Well, I don't personally own a Hemi Ram (my dad has one, though)or a Titan, but I feel like tossing my .02. Stock vs stock, provided they are equal configuration (qc vs qc, 4wd vs 4wd, etc), it's pretty much a driver's race. Simple as that. And I'm not trying to be an ***, but I don't see the point in arguing over which truck is faster. Fullsize 5000lb trucks weren't meant to race. They're meant to haul, tow, do work, etc. That is the true measure in which trucks should be compared w/ one another. And I'm not accusing anyone of doing this, but IF you worry about which is faster to the point that you have use the fact that one has more aftermarket support, then you're probably not using your truck the way it was intended to be used enough to justify owning one. And in that case, go buy a sports car and then argue over how fast it is.[&:]
neither were4 cylinder japanese "Economy cars"...but the evo has put a big change to that one...i think that every type of racing has its own little "niche". look at the turbo GM truck/suvs...they are still regarded as being very fast trucks...i think that some people like the usefulness of a truck with the ability to get up and go a bit...[8D]
I agree, but..... the Evo is a higher level of a standard car that resultedfromMitsu's entry into, and success in, rally racing. Most notably, it's success in the mid-late 90's w/ Tommy Makkinen. The same can be said about GM's Sy/Ty's. They were just hooked up, ***** out versions of the two-door Jimmy, and sc, short bed Sonoma. I see no problem in racing those vehicles, as they are performance-oriented variants of an existing platform or vehicle. But to argue over something that is by definition, very much the anti-thesis of performance, about which has better performance (race wise), seems pointless.
But in the end, it doesn't matter. Because pretty much, if the damn thing moves, people are gonna race it. And with that said, find the guy/truck you wanna race, and race them. Then you have your answer.[&:]
