i was out riding around this morning when i approached a stop light on a four lane road, where the right lane ends about an 8th of a mile past the light. i was a few cars back in the left lane so i swung over into the right lane to be the first car. i was next to some babyboomer in a yellow sweater vest who must have eaten an extra bowl of fiber cereal this morning, as he kept edging up on me.

there was no way in hell i was going to let this middle aged turd in his piece of crap, wannabe luxury car pin me in the right lane, so i came up on the converter and when the light turned green we both came out pretty hard. even with an aggrivating amount of wheelspin, we were side by side through my first gear and i was surprised that he hung with me that long...but when i went to second gear i started to really walk out on him...and by third gear i had put a few city blocks on his ugly *** car.

when we got to the next light, he rolled alongside and said "its a shame that you cant beat a luxury car worse than that"...i replied with "its a shame that at your age thats the closest thing to a luxury car that you can get". he replied with some choice words that i cant say here due to the **** admins and their stupid rules, so i rolled up a bit and said to his wife "is he allowed to race again". he rolled up his window and wouldnt look over anymore...and before our light turned green he turned right into a parking lot. a few miles up, i was waiting to turn across traffic and saw him go past...so it seemed that he only turned to avoid me putting another beating to him.

 

I'm glad you put a whoopin on him. Serves the turd right. I read in Motor Trend, when I bought my 97 Neon (new), that the Neon was faster than most of the Mopar muscle cars in 0-60, but after that the v8's would walk away. I always found it interesting that lowly 4 and 6 cylinder cars were so competetive with the old muscle cars. It shows how light the cars are today and how good fuel injection has made even econo cars.

 

LMFAO... good **** but I like TL's.

 

if it was financially feasible, id drive only carbureted cars.

 

I don't care much about what's under the TL, I think it's a nice design.

My best friend's older sister has one and it makes her so much hotter when she stops by here and gets out of the TL. With the black hair and the black car.
