This post is dumb, neon srt4 vs cobalt, i have raced one SLOWBALT(lol i love that).... and i am not a srt4 but "just a neon"i have seen some of the retard drivers that get in them to race at the track.... this kid thought he was the **** running his black cobalt ss...... personaly i think they look like a want to be evo... with the tall spoiler, and the bulkiness look to them, nothing sleak and smooth about them AT ALL.... anyway..... this kid had a ice bag that he would put on his intake just so he could run 14.6 in the quarter (****TY DRIVER MOD) I kicked his ***, and even after getting his *** handed to him by a 02 neon se, he just got out and put his ice on his intake and acted like he was the ****........
u canmod the hell out of both cars,cavilier ss (not a typo
) and a srt4...... but the facts still are the same, cobalt is a newer car than the srt and dodge has ALWAYS been known for performance...... ever since the origanal hemi was produced, all the way up to the current srt packages..... and things do not change, car for car DODGE all the way... chevy, sorry looses stock to stock.....

from what ive seen, stage for stage from mopar and GMPP, the neon has the advantage at every point. the slowbalt guys running GMPP stage two are no where near as fast as the srt4 stage 2 guys...

when saturn brought it out, some article called it the SRT4 killer..btu when the numbers were in from non-biased magazines, it proved to be more of a stratus killer, which is nothing to brag about...

and it all depends on the weight ratioof the cars as well. You can have them all stripped out and just sheet metal over the doors, which i think all stripped reduces like what 100-200 pounds most. Or you can have it all tricked out and have a trunk full of electronics that might add 100+ pounds. I don't want to sound wrong on here, just my 2 cents, I think the colbalt is the slowest, and a sc redline vs. a turbo srt4, depending on the drivers, would be a close race, but i really don't care, i love raw horsepower of big V8 engines in trucks and muscle cars
