stock for stock, the SRT should DESTROY the redline...

when saturn brought it out, some article called it the SRT4 killer..btu when the numbers were in from non-biased magazines, it proved to be more of a stratus killer, which is nothing to brag about...

 

srt-4 takes it hands down. im not sure about the specs on the redline expect that it has a honda engine. but the SS would stand no chance with 205 hp and 200 lbs. torque, it's heavy at 3300lbs ( not sure about the weight # ), the engine is mounted like infront of the front wheels, and the opt. 18 inch wheels weigh 25lbs. a piece.

 

the cobalt is supposed to run high 14's i think and we all know that cant touch the srt4, but the cobalt is supposed to be more luxorious than a srt4

Agreed. And the numbers I've heard on the Cobalt SS are low 15s. Like 15.0-15.1, in which case it wouldn't even be a contest. SRT4 whoops both cars ***, hands down unless SRT4 driver doesn't know how to drive.

 

It may be a Cavilier but I think the new cobalts look better than the SRT-4 IMO

the only place i would give the cobalt an ounce of credit is the fact that its offered in a coupe...

 

the cobalt turn way better than a srt tho. there at like 70mph in the salom. pretty good! right under a evo. pwer wise yea there not as fast. i belive car and driver did a test between the 2 and even tho the cobalt was fast in the turns the srt beat it everytime beacuse of the speed differance. the srt just out powers the car.
