Default Took down a 3rd gen RAM today..

V6 That is.

Was at a four lane stop light today, when a gray 1500 pulled up next to me. Looked to be a very base model, but I wasn't sure of the motor size. I'm sitting there minding my own business, when I hear him rev the motor up a bit. Didn't think too much about it until I looked over it him.... He gave me the thumbs up signal, and then reached down an flipped a switch. Turns out that he has cut outs. I wasn't going to play until I heard those cut outs open. The high tone of a V6 was all the encouragement I needed. I rolled down my window and gave him the thumbs up too. Once he saw that we were gonna run, I rolled my window back up and proceeded to toy with him.... Light turned green and we both gagged the trucks. I lost a little bit of traction on the take off, and he stayed hooked.
I started to worry about my chances when I saw how quick he took off, but as soon as I got out of first gear, I started gaining on him quickly. I guess this guy thought he would walk away all together, and was out right amazed when I passed him.

Took the truck out to 80 and then got off of it. Of course, the other truck had to do the standard high speed fly by, but he knew he'd been beat.

I pulled into a gas station and he followed suit. Ended up shooting the chit with this guy for awhile and he did confirm my thought that he had a 3.7.

Was all in good fun, and I think we might get a new member out of the deal.
