You don't think he just got lucky this race?

Kinda disappointing that the Spring race is the only one at the Rock this year.

Well... I think he did get somewhat lucky, but Rockingham is VERY HARD... and he definately proved he has a TON of talent. So, I do want to give him full credit, as anyone who can finish on the lead lap at the Rock is lucky. LOL!! I mean... 10th place was 2 laps down!! LMAO!

I know... I like watching racing at the Rock... I think if they timed the schedule correctly, NASCAR could be a year round sport.

I agree with you 100%, Kahne does have a lot of talent and is going to be a great driver when he gets some more experience. No doubt about that.

I think racing year round would take a lot out of most of the older drivers like Rusty and Sterlin, but the younger ones could handle it pretty easily. Especially Tony Stewart. I mean anyone who can run the Indy 500 and the Coca-Cola 600 in the same day can do almost anything.

I agree about it being tough on some drivers... I'm not saying they should do it, just that they COULD do it if more tracks were built. Just stay in the warmer area's in the winter time, and hit the tracks that have bad weather in the off season in the Spring, Summer and Fall. LOL!!

Heck yea though... I think Tony would be all for it... he's a tough one. I really wonder how the drivers would 'vote' if confronted with Year Round Racing option... I bet some of the ones I'd think would be all for it wouldn't and vice versa. LOL!

Like I said a lot of the younger drivers would probably be all for it. But it would be interesting to see what their reaction would be if presented the option.

That finish was so cool! 1/100 of a second!

Well I am not a big fan of the Rock... and they can never pack the place like the rest of the track sell out of tickets. The word is the Rock is off the schedule for the 2005 Cup season!

The writing was on the wall when they cut back from 2 races at the Rock to 1. That part of the country has more than it's share of NASCAR races and other locations are begging to be added to the list. I'm all for spreading the wealth around to draw in more fans and see some different racing conditions.

I say have them run Lugena Seca or Kentucky SuperSpeedway. Those would be two fun tracks, instead of the Rock!

What the heck, let's go full-bore and do some "Dodge Diplomancy" with an exhibition race in Europe, say at Le Mans (woops, forgot we're not on speaking terms) or Nurenburgring (did I spell that right?). We can introduce them to the great American contributions to nutrition, Nachos and Frito-Pie![sm=smiley36.gif]
