Martin Truex Jr. got caught up in the first big accident, then patiently worked his way to the front as other contenders found trouble to win rain-delayed Saturday's Aaron's 312 in the gathering darkness.

Martin Truex Jr. made his way through a couple of big wrecks Saturday. When the smoke cleared after a long, wild day, Truex had his second consecutive Talladega victory. Truex won the Aaron's 312, a race that was halted a race-record 10 times for caution flags. Nextel Cup regulars were shut out of the top 18 spots. Kevin Harvick was 19th. The race was delayed a shade over three hours due to rain and then was halted for a red-flag period following a 16-car accident on Lap 17. Four more cars were damaged in a wreck on Lap 84 that sent Casey Mears airborne.
