Default Steve Barber Wins 4th in a Row

April 30th 2005
(04-30-2005) Steve Barber is still unbeaten in the Super Trucks. Saturday night was the inaugural ASL event at I-70 Speedway featuring drivers from as far away as Florida. The Barber Motorsports team greatly anticipated the race so they could showcase their Super Truck. Steve qualified the Kornis Electric Super Truck for the event with a time of 17.672, that was good enough to sit on the pole for the 35 lap event. Steve started the race and was clear by the second corner. Steve led all 35 laps of the event with a little pressure from the 01 Truck of J. Brent Donelean. Steve said on the radio “good job boys this is what we came out to do......she’s just a little loose”. Steve still stands undefeated in the Super Truck. 4 straight wins this season and 8 wins in 8 entered events.

Please look for the 77 Late Model and 77 Super Truck at I70 Speedway on Saturday May 7th for the second Super Saturday of the season.
