Except for the rear window, it looks so "plain Jane"...........who woulda thunk!?!?

Good sleeper that is for sure although hard to hide 1000hp through the exhaust though.

I am more curious to know if they are running drag radials or actual street tires. It is still using the stock rims. I wish my car had all wheel drive

IT's hared to tell. They way it chirped, sounded like street tires. But HOLY COW, i'd hate to see it on full slicks!

oh, one other thing. I dare somebody to walk up to them and say "I'd like to see your SFI list and NHRA/IHRA license and certifications, please". I bet they'd sh%$ a brick!

So, a 9.65 in the 1/4...

Well, thankfully, the SFI for roll cages start at 8.50, so they're lucky there (our camaro is 7.50). But a parachute is required at 150MPH per the NHRA, and that pass was 146. That's getting awful close. But I know for stock/super stock (10.50+) you still have to have a 4 point cage, and the SFI list starts for balancer, flywheel and transmission shields, I think driveshaft comes in at 9.50, I know i'm missing things.

Our car is a 5.80 (1/8) index car. Here's what we have that's SFI approved/per NHRA rulebook:

parachute
driveshaft (4" steel)
master kill switch
5 point harness
12 point Funny Car style roll cage
window net
fire suit jacket + pants
helmet
balaclava
shoes
transmission shield
flywheel shield
flywheel
balancer
brakes (11" front, 12" rear disk)
