Default Chrysler Classics this weekend!!!

The Chrysler Classics are this weekend at National Trails Raceway June 10-12. It use to be in May, but they changed their schedule with the Pontiac Nationals which is why it is now in June instead. And don't forget about all the fun out on Brice Rd. as a result of the Classics and all the hotels on Brice, tons of burnouts, Mopars, Mopar people and the law. For full information on everything to do with the Classics, click on this link: http://www.classicevents.com/columbu...usclassic.html

I will be there as always, but due to gas price and temperatures the Roadrunner will stay home, so I will be in the SRT-4. If it is nice enough and all, I might take the Roadrunner to Brice Rd. My dad will have his '69 Charger there again in the show field and I will be in the fun field as always or watching the racing or looking at all the stuff I want and can't afford.

Most certainly during the Nats. Most of the Classics fun on Brice is in the parking lots and not in the cruising on Brice, they have cut it down to one lane each way before just to make it nearly impossible to cruise it. They've also been known to ticket people for cruising up and down it before. I prefer the Classics at the track, it's much more laid back and nice. The Nats. are a freakin' madhouse, you can't even breath there's so many people and unless your there when the gates open all the best deals are already gone.

My SRT-4 will be in the fun field or with the other SRT-4's if they have their own section again like last year. The weather, mainly temperature, dictates what I do and how long I stay since the high heat gives me headaches that make migraines seem like a misquito bite. It is supose to be hot and humid with the chance of rain last I knew, I'll be watching to see as it closes in on the weekend. Will you be running the Mirada out there?

71 RR. If your headaches are that bad, I'd urge you to call a doctor immediately. Somethings not right for sure. Sounds like it may be sinus related.

i thought you had some back problem mitch? the mirada is back home with my dad who is going to work on it and run it himself for a while this year since i dont have anywhere to put it at our new house. Amanda and I will be an the nationals, but like you said, actually participating at the nats sucks because its so crowded...its so packed..last year there were fights all over the place...ridiculous..the only big event that i may be running this year will be norwalk...and i dont know which vehicles...at least the stratus...and the mirada if its ready

The Stratus may be the way to go. It should provide good consistency anyway.

why..because im not "good enough"? id put money on myself agaisnt anyone here on the bracket track. i ran the stratus once last year, and went to the finals in street class losing to a guy who ran exactly on his dial to the thousandth....i ran the sebring, the first time id been in that car on the track, and the first time i ran a stickshift on the QM, and i went to the final four, and lost with a .498 red. i know im not john force, but anyone who bets agaisnt me in a bracket race has a better than not chance of losing money.

anyway, hoepfully ill find some way to get rid of this POS stratus and get a used GTO...

I do have back problems, but it's kinda off and on. Most of the time it's just some aching, usually after walking around for a while or doing things like work. If I don't really do anything but sit around there's usually no pain or aching, but then there have been times where it gets real bad and I can't do hardly anything at all, which is what I've had to waste vacation time at work on more than once since they don't have paid sick leave. As far as the headaches go, as long as I can get out of the heat for an hour or two after being out in it for about 4-5 hours, I'm usually OK and can be out in it again for another few hours without getting one. There have been very rare occassions where I've stayed out in the high heat and never gotten a headache, but most of the time I get them if I stay in it all day and once I get one I have to get out of the heat as quick as possible to reduce the severity of it. And naturally, the more active I am in the high heat, the quicker I'll get one which is why I usually only can stay at the shows for a few hours before I have to leave. If it's in the 70's or lower, and sometimes low 80's, I don't have any problem and can be out in it and stay at the shows all day. But like this weekend it's supose to be in the mid 80's and very humid, so I will be limited to only a few hours at the show. When I was at the doctors last I asked about the headaches and he said it sounds like it could be vascular and to keep doing what I have been doing and if it gets worse or whatever to come back in. To them most of the time it's just about making more money, why not do something about it then instead of having me come back in for it.[sm=wtf.gif][:@]
