THE FASTEST
i would like to state that the fastest "street truck" here in boise is a syclone. i forget what year, 89-92 i think, with a 350 s.b. in it twin turbo'd runs 10.5 with the boost turned down as low as it will go. he turns it up to 22lbs and it goes 9.8 seconds, and he has it plummed for nos but has not ran it with it yet, he said it will go 8's easily. its awd, black, even has the chute on the back, just in case, i am sooooo lovin it even tho it is not a dodge. it is the quickest tuck that is street legal i have seen here. btw, no slicks, street tires.
**EDIT** he does not "launch" out of the start either, just idles til it gets time, and punches it.

yeah, it has stock outside except the chute and roll cage stickin out, it is sooooo sweet tho. he wont race anyone on the road cause no one here is good enough to have his time. good guy tho.
Friend from the track has a 78 Lil Red Express. Its street legal with a mild NA 440, tubbed/caged and runs 10.21 without a chute but on slicks
I would still classify it as a race truck.

Yeah, when you start talking the fastest street legal the lines get blurred between a street truck and fullout race truck. Either way, I love seeing a fast truck regardless of manufacturer. Nothing says power like beating a sport car with a couple tons of steel shaped like a shoe box!
