I never have understood the whole point of the truck/SUV racing, which is faster than which. They are not designed for racing or acceleration, they are designed for hauling and payload capacity, that's what truck and SUV owners should be arguing about. If they want to argue power, then they should either tie them together and have a pulling contest to prove which is better or put them bumper to bumper facing each other for a pushing war. If I had one I would be happier knowing that I can out haul and out pull the competition. I also don't see the point with racing stock base model grocery getters, but that's just me. I think that if you want to race you should buy a performance oriented car, one built with that in mind or at least a higher end better performing model.
