i went on a vacation to ocean city and everywhere i went they had a mustang parked out in front for a door prize. my friend was bragging about how fast it was. i pointed out to him they were all v6's. He didnt know what a v6 was. He thinks all fords are automatically fast. His dad was even worse. he was saying his 97 expedition "eddie bauer edition" with the v-8 could beat my dads hemi ram. i asked him how much horsepower it had and he said " i think it has 1000hp stock." it just pisses me off with all the rustang and f-150 owners thinking they've got the fastest thing out there when they dont know sh*t.

 

hey, i know my mustang is not fast at all, i mean a damn geo could beat it!

how much horsepower did the 97 expeditions put out?

 

standard 4.6 liter puts out 215, the bigger 5.4 puts out 230

so could a stock durango beat a stock expedition?

 

depends on the year, my next post has the 2006 xpidition, and various models of the 2005 durango.

 

well the 2006 expidition puts out 300 horse stock
as for the durango, it depends on what engine you get.

I know of a 1/4 mile calculator, this should help no MPH though
